Friends of Cedar Crest Volunteer Program
The primary mission of the Friends of Cedar Crest (FOCC) Volunteer Program is to: provide support for enhanced landscaping and amenities to complement the course, the terrain, and the character of the surrounding Cedar Crest neighborhood, while assisting in the continued elevation of this 103-year-old historic golf layout through Preservation, Beautification, and Customer Service.
As a Volunteer, you preserve the unbridled authenticity of the century old course by ensuring that what the customer sees from the moment they turn into the facility -- from tee box to green, parking lot to driving range -- is consistent with the dreams of those who created this gem, and those who maintain it. As a Volunteer, your customer service knowledge and expertise will be invaluable to our customers. Whether you are a Starter or an Ambassador/Marshal, your understanding of Pace-of-Play, State Law governing alcohol on the course, USGA Rules of Play, Golf event formats, and your mastery of Cedar Crest Golf Course history and membership, will be invaluable.
